Adrasteius: Really?  Really.

(no subject)

Although I am now toiling away at archaeology and World Drama (and taking little joy from either), today something lovely happened in Wisdom Literature. Wisdom Literature is not an English class--it's a course on Wisdom books, specifically the ones in the Bible (proverbs and such). I'm the only freshman in there, because apparently one is allegedly supposed to have had a religious studies class before taking it... but I thought it looked interesting, so I'm taking it anyway.

Anyhow, we're reading Ecclesiastes--you know, the one that goes "All is vanity"--it also has that passage about there being a time for killing and healing and everything in it, and a good deal of other depressing stuff, but its basic message is that you should enjoy life while you've got it--in other words, you'd best eat your cake now 'cause you can't take it with you. So at about 10:00 (the class starts at 9:40 and ends at 11:10), the professor said, you know, it's too nice to be in here, so for the rest of the period, go do something that makes you happy. So we all left, and for my part, I played Kingdom Hearts. XD

I don't know, I just thought that was cool, although it's probably the only time it will ever happen. :B;
